Idiots Deluxe from Synthetic Villains by Synthetic Villains
Features the 'rock' drums setting of a Yamaha PS2 via an EHX Attack/Decay pedal. There was an overtone of 'B' so I wrote the rest of the song to fit that.
Augmented by Stylophone Beat Box (bassline and drums). Plus more percussion from a Roland SPD Percussion pad, and some stabs from a Korg Volca Kick.
Two guitar tracks (two different Fender Mustangs), one clean, one more agressive and crunchy.
Double helping of Roland SE02 for the synth section.
Was thinking of the kind of electro no wave funk of NYC as found on compilations like the Soul Jazz New York Noise series such as Liquid Liquid. Plus Kraftwerk, as always.
