'Sax & Drums' documents an encounter between improvisers Sue Lynch and Regan Bowering, united by their instruments—the tenor saxophone and drums. Nine fragments from a summer 2024 recording session create a dynamic collection, shifting between raw dexterity, intricate textures, and lyrical gestures. The recordings pulse with immediacy, where each instrument’s distinctiveness intertwines with a shared tactile sensitivity.
