Shockwave Syndrome by Piramid Scheme
Shockwave Syndrome was recorded in Lisbon, Portugal and co-produced by Piramid Scheme's founder Lisa Said and Brazilian producer Lucas Mirovski, who also contributed guitars and handled mixing and mastering. The album’s creation was a cross-continental collaboration, featuring local contributions from Arthur Nedel (background vocals, guitars), a member of Brazilian rock band Projeto Hare, and remote contributions from former members Andrew Toy (drums), Darrien Day (bass and guitar), Howard Rabach (bass), and Richard Benjumea (guitar). Said herself added electric bass to two tracks -"From Outer Space" and "Old Icarus".
Shockwave Syndrome will be released on April 25, 2025, through Tall Short Records. The cover art features The Arabian Nights, collage art by Syrian artist Ayham Jabr.

PIRAMID SCHEME is a psych garage rock and power-pop band led by Lisa Said. Formed in 2017 in Washington, D.C., the band released two EPs, Get Rich Quick Too (2018) and Seen This Before (2020). After a 5-year hiatus, they return with their third EP, Shockwave Syndrome, recorded in Lisbon, Portugal.
