Anderson Shelter by Linburn

Linburn is Fraser MacIntyre, a Glasgow-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Debut single Anderson Shelter blends hypnotic Moog hooks with harsh stabs of bitcrushed guitar in a concise burst of anthemic indie-rock. Grounded and elevated by the influence of Scotland’s rich history of folk music, the track showcases MacIntyre’s interest in what lies beneath (and offers explanation for) the surface.

The name of the project arrives from Linburn Road in Dunfermline, where MacIntyre's first home - a cottage his family imaginatively christened ‘The Cottage’ – was. While he performs solo due to his disability (a functional neurological disorder), MacIntyre plans to collaborate as frequently as possible. Liam Chapman (C Duncan) plays drums on four of the six Linburn songs produced, recorded and mixed by Bruce Rintoul between late-2020 and mid-2021, while Lauren Peters is responsible for all of the artwork that will accompany Anderson Shelter.
