The XO by Chiaro

This album is a musical adaptation of a graphic novel called the XO apparatus written but unreleased by Ben Kechagias.
The story tells about a future dystopian world, on the verge of environmental collapse. A company builds a device to merge with humans to help the human body adapt to the changes in the world around them.
This tale follows patient zero and her fight between her humanity and the XO artificially consuming her.

Derived from the word 'Chiaroscuro' a term used in art to describe the the contrasting of dark and light colours, ultimately giving the piece 3 dimensions. Chiaro brings the light and the dark together with droning ominous soundscapes, robotic sounds, organic textures and heavy rolling basslines. Built to bring forward a journey through the psychedelic realm of sound.
