It’s a straight line that leads from bad to worse
It’s a straight line that leads from pride to hate
And it’s not alright, it's not some random fate
It’s a wicked blight so let’s dry out its source.

From the north to the south you can hear it all around
The voice of the people makes a terrifying sound.
And from east to west hear it spreading like a pest,
Who will set against, who's gonna put 'em to the test?
From the banners waving wildly to induce identity
To the racist mob rabid in a national frenzy,
There’s a straight line, straight, a connection clear to see:
There’s no nation, no pride without discriminating.

Add empathy to our death toll
But blood and soil will kill us all

Take a look around and you can tell something’s wrong:
From the cradle to the grave you know we all have to belong,
But in this place based on merit and chauvinistic pride,
Belonging just means to be conquered and divided.
Some may seek comfort in patriotic affections,
But we need to come together, look for different directions
Yes it’s not hard to see, what we need is solidarity
To counter-act all these excluding polarities.
